Edinburgh Royal Society Fellow Donal O'Carroll and University of Geneva's Ramesh Pillai Visit the International Campus

On March 19, Donal O'Carroll, Fellow of the Royal Society of Edinburgh and Chair of Stem Cell Biology, University of Edinburgh, and Ramesh Pillai, Professor at the University of Geneva, visited the International Campus. 

The International Campus side briefed the guests on Zhejiang University's history and development, with particular emphasis on the International Campus's background, educational philosophy, and key accomplishments. Donal O'Carroll remarked that the campus's educational approach, academic atmosphere, and campus environment left a deep impression on him. As the supervisor for students in the ZJU-UoE dual-degree PhD program, he emphasized his commitment to strengthening multifaceted and in-depth collaboration between the two institutes. Ramesh Pillai highlighted the University of Geneva's dedication to international academic exchanges and collaborations and expressed interest in exploring future collaborative opportunities.

During their visit, Professors Donal O'Carroll and Ramesh Pillai toured the Campus Exhibition Center and delivered academic lectures at the ZJE, and held in-depth discussions with faculty and students.
