As autumn approaches, the new semester starts off in an orderly manner. On the morning of Sep 8th, a delegation led by LI Min, Chief of the International Campus, QU Haidong, Vice Dean of the International Campus, and CHEN Liang, Vice Dean of the International Campus, visited the ZIBS, the ZJU-UoE Institute, the ZJU-UIUC Institute, and other key administrations and departments. They engaged in conversations with on-duty faculty and staff, directed preparations for the new semester, and extended their greetings as well as best wishes for the new semester.

On August 22, Zhejiang University International Campus in Haining welcomed nearly 370 Chinese freshmen for the 2025 academic year. 

To help the class of 2025 freshmen adapt to their new university life more quickly and smoothly, the International campus organized a series of training and experiential activities titled "Adapting to University Life" on the first day after their registration.

Recently, the implementation plan review meeting for the National Key Research and Development Program project “Personalized and Inclusive Childcare Service Technologies and Platform,” led by Zhejiang University, was held at International Campus, Zhejiang University.

On July 28,  the “Zhi-Xing China: U.S.-China University Student Leaders Academy and LEAP Global Summer Program 2025” successfully concluded at Zhejiang University International Campus. Over 17 days of immersive learning and cultural experiences, 23 young participants from the United States, Italy, Germany, Hungary, alongside with 10 Zhejiang University students, explored Chinese tea culture, intangible culture heritage, fintech and cultural creativity industry, bringing this enriching journey to a fulfilling close.

Zhi-Xing China: the 3rd LEAP Global Summer Program officially opened on July 14.

On 13th July, Mrs.Varnnee Chearavanont Ross, founder and director of Concordian International School Bangkok, Thailand, together with 14 teachers and students visited the International Campus, Zhejiang University (ZJU). Mr Luo Jiashun, senior vice chairman of Charoen Pokphand Group, and Ms Chutima Sajjawongratn, vice president of Foreign Affairs Department, Super Brand Mall, accompanied the visit. Prof. Qu Haidong, vice dean of the International Campus, met with the guest.

From 8–9 July, Prof. Li Min, Chief of ZJU International Campus, led a delegation to the United Kingdom. The group strengthened ties with University of Oxford, and University College London, and met with ZJU alumni studying in the UK.

From 7–9 July, Professor He Lianzhen, Vice-Chair of ZJU’s Development Committee and Chair of the Joint Management Committee (JMC) of the ZJU–UoE Institute, led a delegation to the University of Edinburgh. The group attended the JMC meeting and participated the Biomedical Sciences Summer Graduation Ceremony, extending congratulations to ZJE graduates. Professor Li Min, Chief of the International Campus, Professor Li Hanying, Executive Deputy Dean of ZJU’s Office of Scitech Research and member of the ZJE JMC, Professor Ke Yuehai, Dean of ZJE, and Professor Sue Welburn, Executive Dean of ZJE, accompanied the visit.

On July 7th, the opening ceremony of the Smart City module of the 2025 SDG Global Summer School at Zhejiang University was held in the Multimedia Hall of the International Campus, Zhejiang University. This module offered by the Zhejiang University-University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Institute (ZJUI), which brings together over 20 students from renowned universities worldwide, including University College London, Cornell University, the National University of Singapore, Zhejiang University, and Northwestern Polytechnical University.During the ceremony, Professor Qu Haidong, Vice Dean of the International Campus, Zhejiang University, Professor Lee Der-Horng, Dean of ZJUI, Professor Ma Hao, Vice Dean of ZJUI, Associate Professor Yang Liangjing, module faculty representative, and Jin Zhe, student representative delivered speeches respectively. The ceremony was hosted by Professor Wang Hongwei, Vice Dean of ZJUI.
