On the afternoon of March 11, the Welcome Ceremony for Professor Jay R. Lund as a Qiushi Visiting Chair Professor and his academic lecture were held at the International Campus, Zhejiang University.

On January 30, 2025, a delegation from the University of Waterloo—including Dean Mary Wells of the Faculty of Engineering, Dean Jochen Koenemann of the Faculty of Mathematics, Dean Chris Houser of the Faculty of Science, Director Felix Arndt of the Conrad School of Entrepreneurship and Business, Director Raouf Boutaba of the Cheriton School of Computer Science—visited the International Campus, Zhejiang University. Prof. Yingcai Wu, Executive Vice Dean of Campus and Dean of the ZJU-UIUC Joint Institute (ZJUI), together with Prof. Hongwei Wang, Vice Dean of Campus, welcomed the guests and held in-depth discussions.

On the morning of January 27, Ms. Tan Aik Na, Senior Vice President (Administration) of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), led a delegation visit to the International Campus, Zhejiang University. Chen Liang, Vice Dean of the International Campus, met with the guests.

On the afternoon of January 16, a delegation from the University of Western Australia (UWA), led by Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement) Jennifer Howell, and Associate Pro Vice-Chancellor (Global Engagement) Maggie Ying Jiang, visited the International Campus, Zhejiang University.

When the anchor bursts through the finish line, When cheers echo off the stadium dome, When the moment the basketball enters the net is forever frozen — throughout 2025, Chinese and international students at International Campus, Zhejiang University compiled an extraordinary record of athletic achievements: a breakthrough third place in the Zhejiang University Comprehensive Sports Meet (Undergraduate Division) and second in the Track and Field Games; defending championship titles in the University "Sanhao Cup" Basketball (Undergraduate Men's) and Swimming competitions; with campus students contributing as Zhejiang University team members to win the men's 500m eight with coxswain event at the 9th National University Rowing Championships... "No education without sports." These gleaming results crystallize not only individual dedication and sweat, but also reflect a systematic support framework, a uniquely inclusive campus culture, and the unifying power of sports to connect youth across borders.

On the evening of January 11th, the 14th High Table Dinner of International Campus, Zhejiang University was held at the campus multifunction hall. Hosted by Laitong College, the event was attended and presided over by He Lianzhen, Vice Chair of the Zhejiang University Development Committee and Dean of Laitong College. Also present was Gu Zhen, Assistant President of Zhejiang University and Dean of the International Campus. The keynote speaker was Ding Peng, a Zhejiang University alumnus and founder and chairman of Beijing DeepCare Technology Co., Ltd.

The beginning of the new year has brought exciting news! The results of Zhejiang University's 6th Teaching Innovation Competition (TIC) have recently been announced. In its first-time participation, the International Campus achieved remarkable success, with all five faculty members from its three academic units winning awards. The campus accomplished a "full sweep," showcasing its strong capabilities in teaching innovation.

On January 20, a mobilization meeting for the 2026 National Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC) project applications was held at the International Campus. The meeting focused on interpreting the latest policy updates and optimizing application strategies, providing comprehensive guidance to faculty throughout the entire NSFC application process to support research breakthroughs. Vice Dean of the International Campus, WANG Hongwei, along with faculty representatives, attended the meeting.

As the newyear dawns, a new chapter unfolds; as the wheel of time turns, it brings warmth to our souls. Bidding farewell to 2025, we feel an upsurge of emotions; embracing the hopeful year of 2026, we march forward with firm steps and unwavering passion.
