On November 9th , the exchange workshop between Zhejiang University and Haining local enterprises was held successfully at the international campus, Zhejiang University. More than 20 professors from ZJU-UIUC Institute, College of Electrical Engineering and other institutes of Zhejiang University attended the workshop, as well as executives and core technicians from nearly 30 local enterprises.

The 2018 Haining International Innovation and Entrepreneurship Conference was held at Yuanzheng Hotel on International Campus, Zhejiang University, as one of the events of the National Mass Innovation and Entrepreneurship week. It was jointly organized by the International Campus, Zhejiang University and Haining Science and Technology Association. Professor Gu Guobiao, Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, was invited to deliver a keynote speech on intelligent manufacturing. More than 100attendees, including experts from China, the United States, Sweden and other countries, and representatives from local enterprises, attended the conference.

The launch ceremony of Zhejiang International Intellectual Property Trading Center and the Auction of Zhejiang Province Technological Achievements (Zhejiang University Session) were held on April 12. The session was the first event signifying the beginning of the 2018 Spring Auction series.

In association with Juanhu Lake International Science Park Committee, Zhejiang University – University of Edinburgh Institute will help build a Biomedical Translational Research Centre which aims to translate academic research into technologies to improve healthcare.
